This policy applies to our users of ARtifactor – a metal detector simulator game.
By creating an account and accepting the privacy policy in the app, you agree on the following terms:
The camera is used for the augmented reality experience.
Location data is used to build the map around you using Mapbox – read more here.
Your location is temporarily processed to obtain special location based findings.
Advertising and Advertising ID
ARtifactor uses Unity LevelPlay to display advertisements. Unity LevelPlay and its advertising partners may process your device's advertising identifier, such as the Android Advertising ID, to deliver and measure advertisements, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, and, where you have provided consent, personalize advertising.
You can limit or reset the use of your advertising identifier through your device's privacy settings. For more information about how Unity processes personal data, see the Unity Privacy Policy.
By creating an account you agree that your chosen username and password is stored on our servers.
You can optionally provide an e-mail address to your account, which is only used if you ever need to restore your ARtifactor account, for example if you have forgotten your password.
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared with service providers such as Mapbox and Unity LevelPlay only as needed to provide map and advertising services, subject to their respective privacy policies.
Account Deletion
By deleting your account, all data associated with your account is removed permanently.
To delete your account, follow these steps:
- Login to your account in the app.
- Click the three dots button (...) to open the menu.
- Click on the gear to enter Settings.
- Under "Delete account", enter your account password and press "Delete".
- Your account is now deleted and you will be logged out.
Email Recovery Setting
We do not have any automatic way of restoring lost accounts. However, you can optionally provide an e-mail address to your account:
- Login to your account in the app.
- Click the three dots button (...) to open the menu.
- Click on the gear to enter Settings.
- Under "Email recovery", enter your e-mail address and press "Save".
- You can send us an e-mail from the linked e-mail address to receive a new password.
